Longstone House Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Seahouses

Situated in Seahouses, 1.4 km from Seahouses North Beach, Longstone House Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar.

Breakfast was great and so were the staff. Bedroom was comfortable and spotless if a little compact, but we did go for the cheapest room available. Lovely restaurant and beer garden. Much nicer than it looked on their dodgy website. Good access to local amenities.

Dunelm Snug, hotel in Seahouses

Set in Seahouses in the Northumberland region, with Seahouses North Beach nearby, Dunelm Snug offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

A spacious and modern room with a separate cupboard and stylish bathroom. Susan was very friendly and helpful regarding booking into a boat tour. I really appreciated the tea & coffee facilities, which included hot chocolate and biscuits. The accommodation is only a few minutes walk from both the shops/centre of Seahouses and from the bus stop.

Megstone House, hotel in Seahouses

This Victorian property offers bed and breakfast accommodation just half a mile from the harbour at Seahouses.

Beautiful home in a quiet area a little bit out of town but within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants in Seahouses. Donna and Paul made us feel so welcome, from the first call to let us know our room was ready early, to waving us good bye as we left in the morning. Huge comfortable bedroom, lovely dining room and a wonderful breakfast. Perfect place to unwind at the end of a busy day in this gorgeous seaside town. Donna recommended the restaurant in the hotel opposite for dinner. It was quiet, food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend a stay at Megstone.

Ugiebrae House Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Seahouses

Set 3.2 km from Farne Islands, Ugiebrae House Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden and a shared lounge.

A lovely welcome. Room, bathroom very clean. Nice that you can open the window to allow fresh air in especially as the room was nice and warm. Although not a full view of the garden from my window the sounds of the birds was very relaxing. You have the standard coffee, tea selection you even have in my case a small cupcake and a slice of lemon drizzle cake to welcome you. I was especially pleased not just that you have a fridge in your room but it is stocked. The items in the fridge are NOT free but the price guide is more than reasonable. I don't think this is a way for the hosts to make money its just for the convenience of the guest so if you have an attack of the munchies or want a glass of wine instead of going out you can just buy it here. I can't remember the price of the wine but since the crisps and chocolate were standard shop prices I can assume its the same for the wine. I enjoyed my breakfast and one day had cream of mushroom on brioche which was very nice indeed. Usual items, full English, cereals, fruit etc. A nice relaxed dining room as well. Free internet which is a must nowadays. The garden is lovely, I didn't see any seats out there but we do have full access and I'm sure seats can be provided. For once a nice sitting area for guests inside. Location is perfect.

It looks nice and was comfortable but was expensive for the actual quality of the apartment advertised. No breakfast is provided by the butcher even though the link referred to one being supplied. Unfortunately the fridge and shower did not work correctly and the customer is required to strip the beds after their stay. More suitable for AirBNB than Booking.com.

Seahouses is a fishing town with a number of shops to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to eat, mostly on the expensive side though the food is good. There is crazy golf but more importantly a fantastic beach. There are sea trips out to sea seals and birds and fishing trips as well.

The house is accessible to everyone with really good facilities, comfortable seating, the biggest dining table ever seen and really well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. There is even a quiet mezzanine area for tucking yourself away with a book! Outside there is a large terrace with seating and beyond a big green space. There is real peace here accompanied by the sound of numerous birds in the trees. Lovely. We walked to Bamburgh, drove round to Lindisfarne and another day to Alnwick gardens (their Treehouse Restaurant is top notch.) Beadnell is worth a visit plus their Craster Arms pub, and so is Craster itself with its smoke house and a stroll to Dunstanburgh castle as a treat. And there's lots more places to explore next year!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily

The property is excellent clean, up to date and homely. Within 10 mins you can be in Bamburgh within 30 mins you can be in Alnwick ( Harry Potter Castle) and there is sooo much more you can do in the area. The location is excellent for walks and all amenities. If you like golf Seahouses Golf course will not disappoint the 10th hole is my favourite. If you like fishing there are soo many options. The village is excellent with plenty to do for families and great pubs for those that like a drink.

Very comfortable bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful hosts. I stayed with my daughter on a trip back from Scotland and we came via Seahouses to see the puffins on a Farne Islands boat trip. We loved meeting Donna and Paul. They are hosts who clearly greatly enjoyed meeting their guests. Huge and delicious breakfast. Good attention to guest preferences, eg. Donna provided me with a flask of oat milk for tea in the room when I said I was dairy intolerant. You never get this in hotels!

Beautiful view from the pub and the room, the restaurant/bar had lots of nicely arranged seating and a lovely outdoor area. The bedroom was very big and I'm sure the bed was superkingsize! The ensuite was modern and clean. The room had a balcony which overlooked the harbour and because there were lots of large windows in the room, you could wake up to a Seaview The staff were very friendly and helpful too both with the room booking and behind the bar Breakfast was lovely too

Perfect location in Seahouses. Traditional pub with delicious food & attentive, friendly staff. Great choice at breakfast, can recommend the local kippers. Wonderful views of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle & Lindisfarne. Perfect base for touring the area. Comfortable room on the top corridor, a bit of a climb up the narrow staircase but it is an old building. If you have mobility issues I am sure other rooms are available

Lovely accommodation. We were at the back of the house, the room was very clean, had everything we could need and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Suzanne was very nice, friendly and attentive, nothing was a bother in terms of topping up any requirements for the rooms and giving advice about the area. Great location within 2 minutes walking distance of the main shops, 5 minutes from the harbour.

Great location for ease of getting to amenities and visiting other areas. Fabulous view. Quiet. Very clean and well equipped. Reasonably priced. Spacious. Separate lounge, dining room and conservatory allowed for us to read/play a game without disturbing someone watching TV. Lovely walks from the house. Golfers can walk to Seahouses Golf course as it is right next door.

The house is very comfortable and has everything in it you could possibly need. It was a two minute walk to the harbour, shops and pubs. Couldn't have got a better location for us and the added bonus of being a lovely quiet area. We would highly recommend to anyone and we are hoping to return later in the year.
