Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodation includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. This property is right on the fjord. It is so beautiful. The people that work there are very kind and considerate. There is a restaurant on site and when we arrived late back from a tour they stayed open so we could have dinner. The breakfast provided was also really good. Each room has its own balcony overlooking the fjord. It is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Flam. You will feel so rejuvenated if you stay there.

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

É la seconda volta che soggiorno qui e confermo che ci ritornerei. La posizione è deliziosa, affacciato su una piccola insenatura del Sognefjord ai piedi della strada turistica Aurlandsfjellet. Colazione deliziosa e buonissima anche la cena a buffet, con vasta scelta di antipasti, primi, secondi sia di carne che di pesce, contorni e dessert, tutto sommato a un prezzo nella media norvegese. Staff educato e professionale, con la giusta attenzione alla gestione degli spostamenti fra gli ospiti al fine di evitare gli assembramenti. Bravi!

Da US$70 a notteBellissimo chalet in legno, colorato e accogliente. Ottimo per 4 persone. Due letti singoli a piano terra e 2 sul soppalco nel sottotetto. Siamo stati solo due notti per giro su traghetto sul Sognefjord. Se avessimo saputo che la zona di Laerdal è così bella saremmo rimasti più a lungo. Bello l'ambiente, meravigliosa la parte vecchia del paese con un paio di vie con magnifici edifici in legno dell'800 che contengono ancora attività - bar hotel negozi. Il fiume che entra qui nel fiordo è importante per la presenza di salmoni.

Our 2nd floor room in the main building was small but comfortable and beautifully decorated. Stunning views of the fjord and the sunset. Lots of choices for breakfast. We also enjoyed our meal at the hotel’s Gastropub.

Just fantastic place to stay 👍 Breathtaking view over fjord surrounded by mountains, green grass everywhere - even on the roof, unusual architecture and very good restaurant here. Not so big choice, but quite big portions and everything very tastfull. Breakfast simple and good - you just get everything you need to start your morning ( homemade warm bread, egg, cheese,... orange juice and good coffee).

soggiornato di passaggio. Già durante la prenotazione abbiamo avuto la sensazione di un posto unico. Appena arrivati l'impressione si è confermata, anzi, è andata oltre. Posto incantevole da cornice, camera direttamente con ingresso in giardino, curatissimo e ben tenuto. Un cancelletto tra la recinzione in legno del giardino, porta subito sul pontile sopra il fiordo; due barchette a remi, disponibili per gli ospiti, per una uscita in acqua a godersi l'atmosfera di relax e tranquillità del posto. Staff gentilissimo e cortese. Visto il nostro check out anticipato sono stati loro stessi premurosi a mettersi a disposizione per prepararci una colazione a sacco.
