The staff are very professional and cooperative. The area is secluded and beautiful. I would rate this hotel\resort as 5 stars.

Located in Sarnen and within 21 km of Lucerne Station, Hotel Metzgern features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Staff were very welcoming. Room was exceptionally clean, we really enjoyed our stay. Sarnen is a beautiful town.

Located in the centre of Sachseln, 200 metres from Lake Sarnen and the train station, the family-run Gasthaus Engel features a Gault Millau-awarded restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. This was a wonderful place. I recommend it highly. Be sure to have dinner, it was wonderful.

Situated right in front of the Melchsee-Frutt Cable Car, Gasthaus Waldhaus is a traditional guesthouse that enjoys a central position in Melchtal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough to make a couple of extra sandwiches for lunch.

Located on the southern shore of Lake Sarnen, the historic Landgasthof Zollhaus is a traditional family-run property for 160 years. Welcoming and kind stuff, good breakfast, good location if you travel by car.

This elegant hotel is located only a 15-minute drive from Lucerne and a 2-minute walk from the train station. It offers modern wellness facilities, free parking and a large terrace. On my request I was given homemade vegan spreads for breakfast. Vegan breakfast in a hotel 10/10

20 km south of Lucerne, with the Sarner lake and mountains right before the door, this hotel charmingly combines a historic building with modern styling and up-to-date facilities. This hotel was located in the heart of Sarnen and it was one of the best hotels I’ve booked in Switzerland. The reason is because of the following: the location is only 20 minutes from the city centre of Lucerne. also, the hotel provides free parking and 24 hour self check-in. The staff were absolutely amazing and they helped me with everything I needed. Breakfast was so delicious. There were a supermarket close and two restaurants as well. Lake Sarnen is only 500meters away with a breathtaking views and seating area. If you have kids there is a small place with fun activities for free near the lake as well. There are electric car charging stations if you are interested. I booked the junior suite and it was spacious. Totally recommend this one!

Frutt Living has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kerns. Wonderful place, so hospitable, restaurant is fantastic, would stay again in a heartbeat.
