It was so calm and quiet, perfect space to wind down and especially during low season you get the ultimate perk of having basically no people at the beaches ;) Sofia the host was super friendly and helpful... couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Nice kitchen and facilities! Just keep in mind that you have to do groceries etc in the centre, as there's only a small restaurant around (which is cheap and good though). And it's a different island than Madeira itself, not everyone may know this ;)

The rooms are really comfortable, nice and have nice touches, as well as the whole hostel. The staff was amazing, they helped us a lot, recommended great car-rentals and were very nice and warm people.
