Lovely setting in a beautiful homestay environment. It was very peaceful sitting in their beautiful garden, and the orchestra of frogs in the evening was a delight. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. Dimu and his wife were so genuine and lovely, and the curries were delicious. Dimu organised a safari tour with Sumudu as our guide. Sumudu's knowledge and respect for the animals was very much appreciated. We saw many wild elephants, Sambur deer (very rare), deer, wild boar, golden jackals, Buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongoose and many beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip! Thanks for an amazing stay, Dimu!

Located in Udawalawe, 10 km from Udawalawe National Park, Forest Edge Safari Villa provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. The safari with Suresh was excellent and good value for a four hour trip. Janith was the perfect host, communicative without being pushy and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also very delicious.

Located 12 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Tree House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guesthouse. The Owners are lovely and really helpful, the Safari was awesome, the rooms clean and nice and the food for Dinner and Breakfast was amazing. Can recommend 10/10, felt Like a place to stay!

Nice cottage house on a quiet street. The host was very nice, we bought a safari tour through him and a taxi to our next location. Also, we ate at his restaurant and it was good authentic food. Our room had AC and bathtub + outdoor shower.

Set within 8 km of Udawalawe National Park, The Elephant Next-Door in Udawalawe features a number of amenities including a garden. Room was very nice, everything was beautiful, Janaka is very caring and thoughtful. We also at diner there, the curry was excellent and very good value for money.

Offering a barbecue and views of the garden, green view safari resort is located 8 km from Udawalawe National Park. Everything. Definitely we are suggesting to use safari offered by host and have dinner there. One of the best what we had in Sri Lanka.

Buddika safari and resort made our stay amazing! The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast and lunch was good! The staff was really helpful and nice! And if you want to make sure to get the best safari experience we recommend to book everything with Buddika safari, good price and the safari driver had an eye for detail! The location, just a short drive from the national park and walking distance to restaurants and shops, was ideal. Now, let's talk about the food – exceptional doesn't quite capture it! The hoppers and chicken were beyond compare; I highly recommend asking for dinner—the flavors were divine, and the prices surprisingly reasonable. The room exceeded my expectations, the most comfortable I've had in my travels around Sri Lanka. Fast Wi-Fi, a spacious balcony with a view of the garden and birds, and a thoughtful room upgrade – it was perfect. To top it off, a warm welcome with juice and a very tasty cake made my arrival memorable. In short, this place is a gem, and I highly recommend it.
