The property is 2 mins walk from the beach but at the quieter end of the main street. There are lots of great cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The place is a very chilled family atmosphere run by the host, Billie, who was a top guy and looks out for his guests. He'll sort out anything you need and runs safaris every other day. Unfortunately we didn't get to do one with him which was a regret.

The property is very homely, the room is big and very clean. The staff is the best, always helpful and smiling. Nisha has made us feel at home, we had an amazing time! The breakfast is great, it changes everyday. The location is 10 minutes walk from the centre but you have restaurants and bars all around. If you surf, main point is 10 minutes by tuk tuk or you have another spot called the wedge just in front of the guest house. It is great to be outside of the crowd of the main road as you can’t hear noises and have a great sleep.

Beach Cab Resort is set in Arugam Bay, 70 metres from Arugam bay surf point, 2.4 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya and 11 km from Magul Maha Viharaya. Super location and a cosy place, enjoyed the hammock all day long, beachfront and has everything nearby, 👍rooms are okay, We were only planning to stay for 2nights but we extended it for 2 more days, It's a good place for the price. there‘s no refrigerator in the room, but we can use a kitchen whenever need it also, there is no restaurant, but many restaurants around, Kindly breakfast was available at any time, so there was no inconvenience, Even though it's a small accommodation,(6 rooms) it's safe to have a 24-hour staff standby

It operates a 24-hour front desk and provides comfortable rooms with free WiFi access.... This place is fantastic! Kevin was great. Cooked us dinner the one night which was fab. Asked us if we wanted to have the room cleaned and always stocked cold water in the fridge. Room was modern and spotless. The location is absolutely perfect. Mega value for money!!

Really enjoyed my stay here, the room was basic but had everything I needed. Mosquito net worked very well and the bathroom/shower was spacious. I was greeted with a smile every time and Murshith was super friendly and really enjoyed getting to know you. He also helped arrange a surf lesson for me last minute and it was one of my favorite activities I did in Arugam Bay. Extremely close to the beach, just 1-2 minute walk and very close to restaurants and all the action at night.

Super friendly hosts (if you’re really lucky you might get curry and rice from Mum), nice clean rooms with arctic A/C. The best thing is the location though, 5 mins from Main Point, but away from the noise and bustle of the Main Street. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful setting, rooms are nice and good value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff who told us about a nearby area to see wild elephants at sunset! Very filling tasty breakfast one morning too, really wonderful stay
