Great place to stay in Arugam bay. The rooms are comfortable and clean, they have everything you need A/C, fan, small fridge, internet, hot water, hammock. The location is at the beggining of Arugam, but conveniently near the beach as well as the best local place to eat in A -bay. But the best of all are the hostess Nisha and her brother who really make you feel welcome and at ease, ready to chat as well as help with everything-from surf classes, scooter rental, mini safari, transport. Always with smile on their faces despite the hard work they do. Thanks for making our stay so memorable! The new owner is also nice.

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful! Lovely location - close to town but still quiet at night. Rooms are a nice size with air-conditioner and fans. Really enjoyed my stay here :)

We are the only couple here and still beginning of the season to Arugambay. Rooms are charming newly prepared and kitchen is most valuable for us to cook by our self and it's owner's gift for every customers. We are heading to Ella and return end of this week for here same place

Super helpful owner&stuff. They always find a way how to make me breakie even I have a lot of food restrictions(gluten free and vegetarian). Perfect location - 3 minutes to the beach but calm side road. The room has everything you need.

We loved our stay at Starfish Cabanas, Tari and his team made us feel so welcome, and the breakfast food was delicious. The Location is only a 3 min walk to baby point and 5 min to main point. The room was big and clean with a big bed and mosquito net. I was very sick the first week and the owner and staff where so nice to me. Calling the doctor and bringing me tea, balm and food to my room. Such sweethearts! I only wanted to stay for 4 nights but extended to 25 nights. There is a beautiful garden in front of the house where you can chill and a small restaurant which makes the best authentic food in town. I would come back immediately :)

We loved staying at the Jungle House! The room and the bathroom were very clean and beds were made almost every day. Bins were also emptied. The guesthouse has a very nice and aesthetic vibe and Laura is an amazing host! She was always happy to help us with questions and recommendations for the area. She also sells big (18 L) bottles of water for a good price (800 LKR) which was very convenient! The Jungle House is about 200m away from the main road, thus a little more quiet, but you can still walk everywhere. The room also came with a little kitchenette and kettle on the balcony and a fridge in the room. After having done extensive research on where to stay in ABay, we can confidently say that we found the best place! The cute cats living on the property are the cherry on the cake!
