The location of the hotel is perfect - just a few steps from the main attractions and the tram stop. It was pleasant to find some cookies and bottles of water in the room on arrival. Free water was always provided there. Individual breakfast portions consisted of local appetisers, fried potatoes and eggs. It was tasty and a bit different every morning. When guests asked for some more coffee or a croissant, they got it. There is a small lift which is really great, especially after the whole day of walking. Our room had a magnificent view on the mosque illuminated in the evening. Besides, we could hear the evening and morning prayer - perhaps, some people would complain that they were awoken by it at 5am , but we enjoyed it. Such prayers can be heard throughout the city all the day. The staff is polite and helpful - they do their best to answer the questions. It is advisable to get a Transportation Card which can be used to pay the fees not only for any of the city's public transportation systems, including buses, metrobuses, trams, the tunnel and ferries, but also for the restrooms run by the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality - you just need to load money onto it in cash or by credit card using the machines on the tram stops.
