A Grimm Fairytale
Although known for the Nuremberg Trials, this Bavarian city has a stunning medieval core of cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings that wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale. Sitting above this is the castle, one of the most important in the Holy Roman Empire. Take the steep walk up here for fantastic old town views.
Hauptmarkt square in the old town is home to an unusual-looking church and a Gothic fountain, spectacularly lit during the annual Nuremberg Christmas markets. Selling everything from wooden toys to lebkuchen (gingerbread), these are widely considered the best Christmas markets in Germany.
Other attractions in Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German) include the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, the country’s largest museum of culture and art. Another highlight is the Heilig-Geist-Spital, a medieval hospital by the Pegnitz River.
A word must also be said about its relationship with Nazism. On the south-east corner are the immense Nazi Rally Grounds and Party Congress Hall, built in appropriately domineering fashion. The excellent Documentation Centre here is a sensitive and unbiased portrayal of life under Hitler. It is also possible to visit the courtroom where the war trials were held.
Before leaving your Booking.com apartment, hotel or hostel to go to Nuremberg Airport, don’t forget to try the spicy local sausage!

Room was furnished with cheap furniture, for what we paid for the room, I have never felt this ripped off. The doorways were 6' 4" inches and I am 6' 6". Felt like they went to Frank Lloyd Wright to design the room.. I would not recommend this property.Thomas - 10Scored 10
Nuremberg is a lovely and very scenic little city.
Nuremberg is a lovely and very scenic little city. I took a thousand photos of memorable traditional sights. Everything is within walking distance and people are quite friendly in general. I discovered a great photo shop called FOTOMAX and will only buy my cameras from there now. There is a sense of easy living and peace there.

Well-located and easy to find. They have a restaurant on the ground floor which serves delicious food. Quiet and clean. The price per night was a little expensive but considering the Interzoo exhibition was a good deal. No coffee or tea facilities sadly. Also, the lift was not working. People were friendly and everyone we encountered spoke English and were very helpful. I love visiting Nuremberg - seeing the mixture of old and modern architecture is wonderful!

A very beautiful city with excellent options for everyone: long walks in the parks or on the river banks and beautiful bridges; historic sites, castle and interesting museums; beautiful streets and wonderful traditional houses; monuments and statues; nice shopping streets with low and high end shops and brands; lively restaurants and terraces with great food options. It really has everything you could want for a great holiday . Do not miss the castle, Dürer house, Germanisches nationalmuseum, Fembohaus. It's about a 10-minute walk from Nürnberg Central Station, and you can easily explore Nürnberg's old town on foot. Various tourist attractions are closer to the hotel than I had imagined, and strolling around was a lot of fun. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a supermarket across the street, which is convenient, and Germanisches Nationalmuseum is right nearby. It's a hotel that I definitely want to book again when I go to Nürnberg.

We liked the modern look of the place. Also the reception area was very welcoming. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We slept comfortably at night, because the room was quiet. We'll definitely book a room there next time we are in Nuremberg.

There's no staff at the hotel, but everything is well organized for check-in. The apartment was modern, well furnished/equipped and clean. The area is quiet. We had a nice 4 days stay and would recommend this place.

The hotel staff is very friendly, they helped with all questions, and allowed us to leave our luggage for free. The Old Town can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. We will be happy to stay again!
