We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

A trip to Tourem is like time travel. It is mesmerising,out of this world. Casa de Campo Gracinda is a typical village natural stone house, restored to high and very tasteful standard. The rooms are warm and cosy with great on-suite facilities. The kitchen and lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. Unforunately our trip was accompanied by bad and cold weather, but the house was warm cosy and made more then up for it.

Situated in Peso da Régua, 4.2 km from Douro Museum and 10 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, Quinta do Valdalágea features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared... The property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

The accomodation was lovely and we liked its atmosphere also in the night. The surroundings were lit up beautifully. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We had 2 tastings: normal wine and port wine. Both were great not just because the good wines, but also because of amazing presenter Carlos. We really enjoyed the 4-course dinner and breakfast as well.

Cidalia and her son were outstanding, warm hosts, and showed real care towards me and my friend. It didn’t feel like we’re staying in a hotel, as much as going to visit close family. They went above and beyond to meet our requests, and have a wealth of knowledge about the region, history and gave us very detailed and practical recommendations. The views from the room were gorgeous, overlooking the river and rolling hills of vineyards. In the morning, we were treated to an amazing breakfast- the son represented Portugal in competition for young chefs. It’s a feast for senses.

Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.

Moleiro de Baçal är ett stenhus i Baçal, 7 km från staden Bragança. Här erbjuds bekväma rum. WiFi är gratis. The host was very attentive and set the place up very nicely and comfortably. We had our car parked safely within the conpounds. The breakfast she served us was amazing. A generous jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, a lovely spread of fresh warm cooked eggs n bacon, hams, cheeses n jams. A really lovely place to stay. Thank you!
