Casa do Lado er staðsett í Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1,2 km frá Lighthouse-ströndinni og 700 metra frá Sao Clemente Fort. Gististaðurinn býður upp á garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. Excellent B&B ! Everything you could wish for in a B&B experience : fine room (ours was on the ground floor) with a spacious bed and ample storage room. Perfect bathroom with a great shower and an impeccable host (or his sister) serving a great breakfast. Definitely a lodging to return to.

Located in Melides in the Alentejo region, Montum Farm Living offers several Houses inserted in the nature and featuring terraces. Absolutely everything Spent 1month is south Portugal and this was our favourite place (homestay hut wihh inflatable jacuzzi)! top!

O Monte das Flores er staðsett í innan við 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Vila Nova de Milfontes. Malhão-strönd er í 3 km fjarlægð frá gististaðnum. 2nd time here. And we'll be back 🙂

Vales do Alentejo er staðsett í Bicos, 28 km frá Sao Clemente-virkinu og 30 km frá Pessegueiro-eyju. Boðið er upp á garð og sundlaugarútsýni. Delightful in every aspect. The houses, the friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, the swimming pool, and the quiet surroundings of the location in deep Alentejo. This place presents high quality standards at a pretty reasonable price. A small property of 6 terraced houses, all with a spacious bedroom and living room with kitchen. Very well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with warm bread, croissant, and cakes just out of the woven. The swimming pool and the view of surroundings is super pleasant. Very good for family with kids, the baby crib was very good quality and the sofa bed for the child also good and spacious. The location is quiet, though the walls between houses are pretty thin and not sound-proof. The drive to nearest town (Cercal) is 10min, there are good restaurants there. And the drive to seaside is 20-30 min but there are many wonderful beaches to explore in this part of Alentejo so this is a great base :)

Monte da Corça Nova í Vila Nova de Milfontes býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu, ókeypis reiðhjól, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. It was in a very quiet and rural setting. But what we liked most was the hospitality. Antonio and Liliana were amazing! The went over and beyond to accommodate us. I notified them in advance that my husband has to eat Gluten Free. Liliana went shopping for special ingredients and had many GF options. We were amazed at the effort she put in to provide a safe breakfast for him. It was sooo appreciated! Antonio was also a gracious host! He gave us many suggestions for hikes, restaurants, etc. and then presented us with a bottle of wine after check-in! We felt so welcome!

Set in Zambujeira do Mar, 900 metres from Sudoeste TMN, Monte Soalheiro boasts an outdoor pool and views of the canal. This place is quiet and totally beautiful. Staff were lovely and the swallows circling over the river in the morning were not to be missed. Also very close to beautiful beaches.

Casas da Moagem er staðsett í São Domingos, 31 km frá Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina og 33 km frá Pessegueiro-eyju. The hosts were very kind and made us feel very welcome. The pool area was very refreshing and pleasant. There is a wonderful feeling of family history and care, as it is right next to the flour museum. A treasure!

TEIMA, Alentejo SW er gistiheimili sem staðsett er 6 km frá São Teotónio og býður upp á útisundlaug. Þetta gistiheimili er með nútímalegar innréttingar og er umkringt náttúru. the breakfast was fantastic, all the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Maria was able to answer all of our questions and provide is recommendations for dinner. We loved the tranquility of Teima, it is a perfect place to switch off and get some rest as it is very peaceful. The highlight for us, apart from the fantastic breakfast was seeing the donkeys and all the other animals.

Montes de Baixo er staðsett í náttúrugarði á Vicentine-strandlengjunni, suðvestur Portúgal. Gististaðurinn er 16 hektarar og býður upp á gistingu með einkaverönd og náttúrulegri útisundlaug. quaint little place, very charming, very comfortable bed and pillows, can see the stars at night, natural pool, super friendly host, shared kitchen was great (some bedroom have their own kitchen too).
