Tranquility and spending quality time are the main things we were looking for and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful views, away from our usual busy city life. The place was clean, great staff - very welcoming. We felt like we were part of the family and the team made great suggestions on local restaurants to visit for dinner. The complimentary wine tasting and wine in our suite were highly appreciated. We did not feel the impact of loadshedding because the house had a back up power supply. The second day of our stay was a cold day but we had wine and a fire place in our suite to make everything alright.

The first thing that struck us was the breathtaking view of the Cape Town mountain range and the sprawling farm surrounding the property. It was a picture-perfect scene that instantly soothed the soul. Our room was cozy and meticulously decorated, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure comfort and relaxation. But the real highlight of our stay was the breakfast. Oh, what a breakfast it was! The English breakfast served was nothing short of spectacular, with each element cooked to perfection. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon crisp, and the sausages bursting with flavor. And let's not forget the omelette - a culinary masterpiece that left us craving for more, its called the “special order” as their little help Cindy would say. In conclusion, our time at the Chambray Estate - The Terraces in the Vines Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary.
