Loved this beautiful place. We were interested in going to the small town of Marvao. This was only about 15 minutes away, and we loved being out in the countryside. The check in was easy, the room charming, and the view from the pool amazing. Very casual environment, with her sweet animals wandering about. The breakfast she included was amazing. highly recommend this place!

The location is very good, far away from the city center. You can hear a far noise from the road but nothing really important as traffic is low. Additionally to the room you have a fair sized living room with an equipped micro-kitchen.

We were so pleased we picked Ola Linda as our base for our country hikes. Our dog adored the space (there's so much land that we may or may not have lost her a couple of times!). It's a traditional country house with some low ceilings that only add to the charm. The house is incredibly well-equipped and has everything you might need for a longer stay. It's also close to a big supermarket. We especially enjoyed the terrace and seating area (take insect repellent if you're partial to being bitten by mosquitoes) The host was always attentive and available via messages, and kindly left us a lovely bottle of Portuguese wine as a welcome gift :)

Absolutely perfect! The house is so beautiful and comfortable! The front of the house is all in glass, with a breathtaking panoramic view! I's so cosy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. You have stunning views from every room. There was a lot of space. Outside, the house has an amazing private terrace, so comfortable to relax and enjoy the view! The sense of peace we feel there is unique. Irene is an excellent hostess and made us feel so welcome! We loved everything and we want to come back!

We liked that our host was so friendly and that if he didn’t understand everything we said in English he would use his app on his phone to have a chat with us! He was very accommodating in every way and we even had a wee port on arrival and tea or coffee whenever we wanted it. There was a lounge area we could use and the views were incredible. Marvao is a gorgeous village and this property was extremely well situated near the ruined castle and tiny museum, both of which were well worth exploring. There was a nice homely cafe just metres away. Parking was also easy and just outside the door. Our host was kind enough to help with our luggage.

Wonderful little part of paradise. The lady was exceptionally friendly, and even though we didn't speak portugese, she tried her best and figured out what we were saying. Always a huge smile on her face. ☺️

Highly recommend. Everything is spotlessly clean and the kitchen and bathroom well-equipped! The staff is warm and helpful. There are friendly goats and sheep in paddocks around the property—even the geese were friendly.
