I recommend for a couple of days, also to visit the thermal springs in the mountains once. Get to Yalova by ferry from Istanbul in 1.5 hours. It seemed like a good place to be.. there was cheap transport wid variety of places to eat.. the Mrs was pleased with the shops and tbe kids were pleased with the entertainment available.. the city appeared to be a safe place for families and children. When we arrived, there was an issue that I won't mention. The hotel has plenty of good reviews and I don't want to besmirch that for something that the hotel says was not their fault. The room itself was very nice and the staff was very nice as well. The issue was not able to be resolved on our end and, to the hotel's credit, they timely issued a full refund. Thus, they have a positive review from us.

The canal walkway is well lit at night, with families walking along it then too. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, there is something for everyone, and it provides a good start to the day! There are many grocery stores and restaurants along the same road as Hotel Beksiti, which is definitely convenient. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

Sitting down in the front yard in the night is spectacular. The front view of the mountains and the sea is great when you wake up. The receptionists are very helpful and welcoming. The area is very quite and near to everything needed. Breakfast is very good there. Coffee and tea are always free and self service. It’s one of the best places that I have been in.
