The resort is perfect for relaxing, because it's so nice and calm (depending on the guests tho - when we left a big group with many kids arrived so it was more noisy but i guess that can be the case anywhere). The pool area is very nice, they even have a steam sauna and provide towels. The rooms are super spacious and modern with very nice furniture and get cleaned everyday, including fresh towels, water bottles, coffee, tea etc. The breakfast is a small buffet, we would have liked having more choice, but its okay!

Overall the island is really lovely. It isn't as crowded and just a really good place to calm down. The only thing we didn't like was that you couldn't really swim cause the water was crowded with jellyfish and every time we tried to go in in left with a bunch of stings.

The island is very easy to get to.
Very serene and calm and a relaxing holiday escape. The island has everything you need
We mostly stayed near our accommodation but you can rent bikes/scooters/sidecars from almost anywhere. There is a local taxi service that can take you around the place also.
Bring cash. Th island has limited ATMs and most places only accept cash.

This is a lovely little island with a full range of accommodation choices and loads of wildlife to see. The bathing is difficult only because at low tide it is muddy and rocky on most beaches. Just pick high tide to swim. Lovely people. Cycling is a very good way to get round.

Very calm, peaceful and relaxing!
Very calm, peaceful and relaxing! If you want to get away from society, noise, civilization and tourists, this is your place! Beaches are not the best but they are clean and empty. The most exciting thing to do in this Island is kayaking to Nok Island (30min) and once you arrive hike the trial to the top for the amazing view! One of the best we had in our whole trip in Thailand. Also, renting a scooter and discovering the island by motorbike, stopping in each beach. So safe and relaxed. I recommend to stop by Stella's restaurant for eating o for a smoothie, super home made food and good price and views by the beach. For sunset, either Sunset bar or Hiddenout beach. Perfect place for getting away from noise but not if you want to party and meet people.

The island overall is not very built up and seems a bit rural when driving through. However there are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars to go to. We rented a scooter and drove almost around the entire island which was a very cool experience.
We were slightly dissapointed though with the beaches which we were partly to blame for as we did not research before. The tide was far out for most of the day so we didn't get a chance to swim in the sea. The beaches are all very rocky as well so even when the tide comes in I'm not sure if we could've swum.

This is a quiet and undeveloped island - so if that is what you are after it is great. I enjoyed getting on a bike and exploring the different parts of the island: remote beaches, local villages, paddy fields, plants, trees and wildlife. There are a few hills that you need to tackle but this was part of the healthy enjoyment of the island. At high tide I walked over to the small island in Tha Khao beach and swam in the sea, lay on the beach and watched the Brahminy kites - most days I was the only person there. There are some other remote beaches on the North East coast that you can hike/bike/scooter to. The best lunch spot was Chaba Cafe which has a shabby chic vibe, really good local food and serves a good macchiato. I had a few dinners at the Sook restaurant at the Suntisook resort which again had some really tasty Thai food.
I found that you need cash everywhere on the island so you need to plan to bring enough THB. There are a lot of ATMs but they either run out of cash, are out of service and on top of that charge a lot to do FX i.e. flat fee + 5%.
Great stay at Anattaya! Nina contacted us to arrange the pick up at the pier before we arrive, everything went smoothly. Large room in the back of the property, so no street noise. Room was clean, drinkable water provided, comfortable beds and the room can be cleaned everyday. Staff is really kind and caring, Nina is responsive and helped us book speedboat tickets and day trip in the islands. We rented a scooter directly at the hotel which is very convenient. 7eleven within 30 seconds walking distance, nice little restaurants nearby.
Everything was just perfect. “A slice of paradise” really represents our staying.
The hotel and the staff were fantastic and they really knew how to provide all we needed in order to have a heavenly time.
The views are breathtaking and the facilities are extremely well thought.
The breakfast is great, with high quality products.
Our staying was 100% plastic free, and you can also feel this hotel takes care on the impact it has on the island and tho local communities.
Can’t wait to come back.
We loved everything in this bungalow :
- Good location
- Comfortable and spacious bungalow
- The owner (Cha) is a lovely person and speaks well English. It was really nice speaking with her. She gave us a lot of information about what to do on the island (activities, restaurants...).
She also rented us a scooter (the best we ever had in Thailand!)
So, we would definitely recommend this place and if we come back to Ko Yao Noi, for sure we will come back there !
Kop khun kha 🙏
Big, private beachfront bungalows in paradise. Incredible staff that wanted to ensure you enjoyed the stay. Nice pool. Older property but clean and cared for. Close to everything (good restaurants, coffee shops, scooter rentals, etc). Inexpensive, uncrowded (though fully booked) with all amenities as advertised. Big porches overlooking islands and pool areas to socialize. I will return. Two couples, two bungalows, two scooters, many new friends met. We all enjoyed.
We had the couple room, big with very good AC large balcony. The place is in the middle of the island so pretty much everything is easy to reach. Also they offer Fair bike rental not like around the corner where it is a rip off... Owner and her charming lil girl a lovable. The boat tour she organized for us for five people was absolutely awesome and much cheaper than anywhere outside. Included breakfast was very good, eggs fresh fruit, bread and coffee.
This location lived up to all expectations and descriptions. Amazingly friendly and helpful hosts who advised the best things to do and further transport arrangements. The location is a perfect getaway from busier places near here with the noise of tbe sea and nature proving to be the best music. The island has not been spoilt by over-tourism, so this is the place to come for authentic island life. Ten out of ten and THANK YOU
I have traveled all over Thailand, and Annie Meen's is my favorite place I've stayed in. Annie is the best – incredibly helpful, answered all of our questions about how to get to and around Koh Yao Noi, and offered to pick us up from the pier. The room was clean and comfortable, with so many thoughtful touches to make us feel extra welcome. I highly, highly recommend staying here! Thank you Annie for a great trip!
We had the most amazing stay on Ko Yao Noi at Suntisook resort. The owner is so helpful and helped us organize a transfer to our next destination., a family scooter and a visit to a fish farm. Shr also had great advice on restaurants (make sure to pay sea gypsy a visit!). and made sure we felt welcome at any time. Breakfast was super delicious with fresh fruit, pancakes, coffee etc.
I stayed 3 days in this hotel. Everything was perfect. Nancy and the staff were on top. If you have any demands or problems, Nancy is always available. The villa is clean and all the necessary furnitures are provided. You can enjoy the swimming pool or go the beach directly. Breakfast based on your preferences was a nice touch. Definitely I will return again. Thanks !
Super Hotel with ocean view.staff very nice. The rooms are very clean with wifi, TV, fridge. Everyday a big breakfast. You can rent a motorcycle A 250 BTH a day, the staff will not keep your passport and does not request Deposit. Small place of paradise to relax. Thank you for everything and see you soon.
The pool and location are the selling points of this hotel. Its in a great part of the island and the pool was lovely and really deep.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The hornbill nest to the side of the hotel is so lovely to watch while you're in the pool. The grounds are really lovely.
The little bungalow was cute and it had everything we needed. The property was a little bit remote but that made it quiet and peaceful. The pool was great and you were right on the beach. Rent a scooter and you can go anywhere to enjoy the island. It was a wonderful place to stay.
- Nice room when you take a jacuzzi room as it’s more relaxing and nice views
- Good scenery from the hotel as a whole
- Nice that they did a bonfire party as it was festive
- Cocktails were nice during happy hour
- Good that they offered kayak and yoga
This place is very beautiful and has a very good value. You will need a scooter to get by the island, but you can rent it from the owner. The view and terrace are definitely worth coming here. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
Modern, small and clean hotel on the West side of the island - not far from the Port. Excellent staff and in a good location to explore the island on scooter. Very good value for money including breakfast as part of price.
Staff was super kind and helpful.
The hotel is very quiet, cute and the environment is beautiful.
The restaurant is very good.
We booked a boat trip to discover the islands : great experience, good price !
You cannot fault the location. The Paradise resort is located in a beautiful part of Ko Yao Noi. The biggest asset of the resort are the staff, always helpful & always smiling.
Great location right on the beach with sunrise. Easy walking to a little local town with restaurants and a couple of shops. Clean and comfortable accommodation, sweet staff.
