Very central location, large room, good AC, pretty decent shower. Lots of shops and restaurants around, 10 mins walk to the beach. The whole design looks nicer in pictures than in reality but is a pleasant touch. Early check in was a bonus. Good wifi.

It was a lovely escape. As soon as we arrived we didn't leave. We stayed in an incredible room with it's own pool. The service was possibly the best I've ever experienced. The service was the stand-out take away for me... and that's saying something, because the room was exceptional.

We loved the King-sized bed, and nice pillows.
We loved the King-sized bed, and nice pillows. Many places do not have those. The stairs down to the veach was a long trek, so we drive to the beach. A newer made hand rail is essential to replace. And it seemed the photo of the swimming pool made it look longer, and it was ‘t.
I loved the small refreshing pool.
There were many nice features at the Posada, but we were disappointed in the stairs and lack of a hand rail. The price was the best!

Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature.
Mazunte is the perfect combo of comfort and nature. It’s very small but lively with shops and restaurants and the atmosphere remains quite and friendly. For even more tranquility I recommend spending the days on the beach at San Angustinillo, and heading back in town for dinner. Temazcal ceremonies at Kakao Kali are a must try if you’re on a healing journey. I was also happy to take a boat ride to see the dolphins and sea turtles.

This is a hip vibe place to be.
This is a hip vibe place to be. The busy streets, the beach goers. The constant revelry. This place is a Pueblo Magico so it has a standard that was met. Pueblo Magico towns offer an experience that is reflective in the most part to that area of Mexico. This town did not disappoint, but go down the road to Zipolite, and you will understand that the conformity of Mazunte, is pleasing to the eye and walk able (somewhat). The area's that seem pedestrian for the visitors are often used as service roads for vehicle traffic, and if you are from North of America, pediatricians have the right away. Not the case here, the car, or motorbike is king, stay to the side, and don't get lost in the karma of the place, because someone will be down your back in no time. Be careful.

Loved Mazunte by the beach!
Loved Mazunte by the beach! The beach area hotels are much quieter than the ones by the main road.
Good food is plentiful and easy to find.
Everyone gathers at the beach to watch the sunset!
Word of warning; come with pesos because ATM machines often run out of cash or are not working. Learned this the hard way.

We love this quaint little beach town.
We love this quaint little beach town. You are living each day with and like the locals. Grab some fresh fruit, local coffee, and local pastry treat and hang out on Main Street with the locals and enjoy the atmosphere.
The beaches are beautiful and not crowded although the current is quite strong in some areas. 2 beaches just 5 minutes away or another maybe 10 minute walk. Greet the spectacular sunrise each morning on the beach with sun salutations, yoga, jogging, swimming or enjoy a short boat ride to see whales, dolphins, turtles and msntarays. Sport fishing is available too,

Small beach town with not much going on besides beach,...
Small beach town with not much going on besides beach, tourist clothing shops and dining options. The ocean is beautiful but a bit rough at the time we visited in early November. You can rent an umbrella to have shade. There appeared to be a little night life on a few small roads leading to the beach but we didn’t go there for that so I can’t speak from experience.
The perfect place to stay in mazunte. Tucked away from the main street and the perfect distance from the beach. So comfortable, clean and the fans worked a treat on hot days. Couldn't ask for more.
If you are lucky enough to stay here you will be lucky enough to meet one of the most amazing hosts, Paula. In a time of crisis for myself and partner miles and miles from home, Paula went above and beyond what any host ever would. A woman with infinite amounts of kindness. I will never forget my stay here.
The location is perfect, on the main street, near to all facilities. The downside is that it can be noisy at night - music from bars and restaurants in front went on till past 11PM. In any cases, Mazunte is very small, so all guesthouses are pretty much central. They made me use the bathroom and take a shower late in the afternoon, before catching my bus. I appreciated that. And also that they kept my bag safe all day, after the checkout.
This location is absolutely stunning. It sits perfectly between Mazunte and San Agustinilla beaches. The staff was wonderful. Manager Salomon provided his WhatsApp address so that we could reach him with any needs. He was extremely responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. The view from the pool is stunning.
This hotel is obviously an ongoing labour of love, apparent by all the small details around the building. It has a wonderful cabana/terrace with beautiful sweeping views where you can relax in loungers or hammocks after a dip in the pool. Also the rooms all have balconies with views. Set up in the hills surrounded by nature.
Spacious room with everything you need. Also loved having a blender to make smoothies and frappes. There's always someone around and the hotel felt very safe. All the staff are super friendly. And wifi was good for the area, which was a big plus as far as work goes. And of course, very close to the main strip and the beach.
Location is amazing - less than 5 mins to Mazunte beaches, 15-20 min walk to San Augustillo.
The staff were friendly, offered to change our sheets free of charge
Very quiet place, lots of seating outdoors and on balconies
Nice to have a private bedroom and bathroom for the price of a hostel elsewhere
Loved the beautiful plants and the pool. The bed was very comfortable. The shared kitchen was well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Alberto was a great host. The location was great, and I was closed to town and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Mazunte. 👌
I booked for 4 nights at Casa del Angel and extended my stay to stay longer in Mazunte. It's very good value for a private room. All white and clean, it was a comfortable room. I did enjoyed my stay. Lots of vegetation around and in the property with a pool and some animals around.
Such a great spot to stay in Mazunte! Room and bathroom were perfect and the shared balcony with hammock is amazing. Also has a simple shared kitchen which was quite handy. Not easy to find somewhere with AC in Mazunte and wouldn’t have slept without it as was so hot.
The bed was great, amazing views, very peaceful, & convenient community kitchen. I’m a walker, so while it is close to the town, you go down to beaches&town & back up to the Hotel. Many people rent scooters or taxis but I wasn’t in a hurry to go anywhere😊
The location above the beautiful beach town of Mazunte was perfect. The hotel has a beautiful view overlooking the town an the wide Pacific Ocean. The manager, Cesar, was an excellent host and I learned much about the area from him.
- quiet location, yet in walking distance to "downtown" Mazunte
- nice view and chill terrace
- the apartment has everything you need for a couple of days or even some weeks
- friendly staff and good communication with host
Great location, great attention from the staff. One of the great things is that you sleep hearing the sea as you have it literally next door. Everyone from the hotel was super helpful (Except for the owner / manager)
Great little hotel, loved the large room, well decorated and very comfortable and stylish! The restaurant downstairs was great! would stay here again! probably the best value place of the several places we stayed.
The view of the ocean and beach below was amazing. The Catalonian Chef, John, puts this place over the top. We had 3 superb Gourmet meals here at a great price. I would recommend the hotel for the food alone.
the worst experience in mexico.
what rubbish service from A to Z.
The hotel with 150 steps without air conditioning. No service on site and rude staff. Never again. i will never go back again
nice spot to explore by walking to both Mazunte and St Agustinillo.
nice pool and AC. wifi spotty at times but worked most of the time.
nice owner and staff.
The hotel has a great view and it's a nice place to get away from the heat below - sit by the pool and feel the breeze. The staff are very kind and helpful.
