Great host family, delicious breakfast, good location with a private parking lot, a short walk to the beach and supermarkets and restaurants. The room was very clean and the large balcony offered a fantastic view. We would definitely come back again!

Small place, too crowded, everything walkable.
Many supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
Some tourist attractions, impossible to visit in the hot water, for example to climb to the castle on the top of the mountain.
Rafting on Cetina river was amazing.
One can take boat trip on the Cetina canyon.
The beach is open, with umbrellas and sunbeams too. Clean water to swim.

We picked Omis because of the activities that were available there and we were not disappointed. We did rafting, a speedboat tour to the blue cave and some islands, ziplining, trip to Krka National park and jet skis. We were going to do canyoning but decided on a beach day instead. If/when we return we will also do a boat ride up the river and hire a boat and go across to some islands. Our 17 year old sun did not get bored! The old town is lovely, although very busy. There are many restaurants that were all very nice. Most sold the same sorts of food consisting of a range of meat and fish/seafood dishes as well as pasta and pizza. Some of them specialised a bit but we all ate well every night for a reasonable price. There are also a few souvenir shops and shops selling beach items.
Be aware fruit is expensive at the stalls. One nectarine was 3 euros. We spent 38 euros on 4 nectarines, 2 plums, 1/4 watermelon and some grapes and a significant amount had to be thrown away. Other than that the food is reasonably priced with several small supermarkets throughout Omis.
Whilst a guide on one of our trips considered the beaches to be sandy, they are not what we think of as sandy- more shingle mixed with sand. Think builders sand. Saying this, the beaches were clean and the sea is crystal clear and we still spent time there and would return.
You can pay by card in the restaurants and supermarkets but the activities, food stalls and small shops were cash only. Not a problem in itself but we wished we had gone prepared for this as it meant we had to take cash out of the ATM a few times.
Public toilets cost 1 euro to use. This can add up if your out for the day and there are a few of you.
Overall a great place to be. we would recommend and return here.

Omis is an amazing location for people (singles, couples or families) who are looking to explore Croatia's amazing country side by doing as little or as much as you want. There is an abundance of activities which are aimed at varying levels of fitness with some activities more suited to those adrenaline junkies. Would recommend visiting during the summer time but would still be amazing during autumn or spring.

Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places.
Good place to stay if you don't like crowded tourist places. The city is charming. It has everything one may need - historical Old Town, sunny beaches, restaurants and cafes, magnificent mountains and river.
Its location is good to explore the surroundings.
We spend the weekend in the apartment and would certainly recommend it. The property seemed brand new and was beautify decorated. The location was perfect for us, it was a walking distance to the town, the town beach and the zipline centre (the Omis zipline was the absolute highlight of the trip). The stunning view of the mountains was an added bonus! The property was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Marijana was an amazing host, she showed us around the apartment and gave us great recommendations.
The staff is fantastic, they are trying their hardest to keep the hotel functioning at the highest level and it shows. The rooms are spacious and modern, the food was lovely and obviously prepared with a lot of care and attention to detail, the WI-FI was functioning perfectly and there is a beautiful beach right nearby. When my family comes back to Omis we will most definitely choose Villa Miramar again as we enjoyed a perfectly relaxing holiday here and the kids loved it.
The location of the apartment is great, even though it's very high located you can access it also easily if you don't arrive by car (15 minutes incline walk from city centre). The view from the balcony is fantastic! The kitchen had all necessary tableware & cutlery to make breakfast. There is even an extra double bed in the living room.
I'd recommend Omis mostly for families with children, there is a sandy beach, the parking is cheap and there are great restaurants.
This was by far the best accommodation we’ve had in Croatia! The beach is literally on the other side of the road and it’s not a busy beach. The room was clean, modern and quite big, the view from the balcony is breathtaking. There’s a restaurant downstairs so it’s not needed to walk all the way to Omis after a beach day. Breakfast was also amazing, paired with friendly and kind waiters. Everyone was kind to us, helped us if needed. I highly recommend this place. 😊
The beach is literally a few steps away, staff going above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, facilities super clean, food very delicious and restaurant offering views of the beautiful sea and sunset. If you’re not after an animated holiday but just looking to enjoy the beach and have a pleasant stay in Croatia, this is your place to stay!!
I had an amazing stay in Croatia with lovely hosts and a wonderful apartment! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The apartmenan and well-furnished, and had all the amenities I needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful experience in Croatia!
very sweet owners, great apartment, fully equipped kitchen, spacious balcony, fast enough Wi-Fi for work video calls, everything was perfect, omiš is a lovely town and offers may great trails for hiking. supermarkets just couple of minutes away. I stayed there for a week and absolutely loved it
They have an elevator.
After lugging two large suitcases up and down stairs for the whole vacation so far, it was sooooo nice to have an elevator for a change. 10 rating just for that! But also, the view from the room was maybe the best one in Omis.
The front desk manager, Stepo, Anna and the restaurant manager Gabriella were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. During our trip to Croatia and Italy, we stayed in 6 different hotels, including 5 stars hotel and Plaza Duce still the best!
Loved absolutely everything enjoyed our weeks holiday!! Everything was perfect! The staff were very friendly & helpful. Transfers to and from the hotel was very good. On time no waiting about which was great
- Most hotel staffs are very nice.

- We extend our stay.
Omiš is perfect city to explore Croatia, and this was really good place to stay for 4 nights, everything is in walking distance (1-1.5km). Highly recommended. We enjoyed stay here a lot!
Modern hotel with great sea view & bus stop right in front. Receptionist great & breakfast the best we've had in 3 weeks of travel. Room super comfortable & safe underground parking.
The location is perfect. Within 5-10 minutes you are in the old town and on the most beautiful sand-beach we encountered in Croatia. Omis and this apartment is really worth wile.
The property is gorgeous, new and clean and modern, right on the beach and a beautiful hotel. It is also nice that parking is included. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful
