Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.JJanSwitzerland - 10Scored 10

Stunning scenery in the mountains nearby. World class!!! So happy to have come. Better weather would have helped. Recommend Hüsi Biergarten heartily. Open and serving very late. Terrific staff. Good food. Good rates. Great, healthy salads too.

Though there's comment that host is not prompt in response but I'm grateful to get his/her response and pretty prompt in solving some of our issues: 1) allowing us to open door to drop our luggage as we arrived too early in the morning (though we are thoroughly shocked by what we see cos it have not be clean up) 2) resolving the socket issue as someone prior has damaged it

The wifi kept going out, but the owner was working hard to maintain it. There was no AC in the room, but we are in Switzerland, and we had the windows open except when it was raining. I would stay here again as it was a cute place and had room for three people to stretch out and have some privacy. The shared toilet and shower isn’t ideal but we knew that we would have to share. But it was dirty. We had a sink in our room and washed from that and cleaned it ourselves. Great location though! Oh and the bar next door is really loud you won’t get any sleep. But again we saw the reviews knew what to expect. After driving for hours, it took us much longer to reach the beautiful town of Interlaken, and the host stayed up late and waited for us. The apartment, in the center of the town, was clean, safe and very accessible to shops and dining. The entire experience was unforgettable and we would definitely stay here again!!!

The kitchen facilities (in the same room) were complete, including microwave, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, salt, ... The landlady was very kind and helpful.
