Booked 1 night accommodation in a queen room for $140.
The motel is located in West Port Augusta on the Eyre Hwy. Its a single storey building built on 2 sides with car parking in front of the rooms. There is a rear entry to the complex making it easier to get out & on your way.
Friendly greeting & allocated Room 12, down the back.
The units have a security screen door. Its a spacious room with sofa, dining table, microwave kettle toaster etc.
The bed is comfortable too. Wifi is excellent & air con good too. There is very little road noise.
The ensuite is a good size, with a good shower.
We have stayed here before & enjoy its amenities & location.

What a fab place to stay in Port Augusta. Lots of little extras! Spacious, clean, comfortable. Easy parking. Sat out on the deck at sunset. Walking distance to Woolies. Even an EV charging station, my daughter would like that. Friendly and efficient staff. Very secure complex. Definitely the place to stay.

Port Augusta is nice peaceful place with plenty of food places, Accomodation when not booked out is clean and restful. With Big W and KMart Hub Sports and Toy Shop and other food and other places to peruse a good place for a week stay they also have Wadlata Outback and a nature ground to look at Not far away is the Flinders Ranges and a lot of thing else around , with a bit of Sight Seeing within Driving DistanceMaywald - 10Scored 10

We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip. We stayed at the Augusta Courtyard Motel, which was excellent. There may not be a lot to see but it’s quite a pretty town & nothing’s very far away. We went down to the wharf for a peaceful stroll and took some lovely photos. Had breakfast in a cafe adjacent to a park, where there was free live music courtesy of a band that was singing and playing. They even supplied fold up chairs for folks to sit in 👍 A great morning was had before we headed off to the race track. Our horse wasn’t a winner but everything else was. Loved our stay and wished we had an extra night!

The Wadlata Centre was excellent.
The Wadlata Centre was excellent. Certainly worth the entry fee. We stayed at the Magestic Oasis Apartments - friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Full kitchen facilities. The air conditioner was very welcomed as the outside temperature was 42 C. A tad hot!

Odd town shopping area layout. Wanted to go on Pichi Richi railway but here wrong day unfortunately. Make sure you visit the water tower. Go up it and enjoy the views of Port Augusta and further afield.C&HAAustralia

A stop on a road trip across the whole continent. (Our first stop was on the return leg of an outback trip; we took the historic steam railroad excursion from there.) What's to like about Standpipes, aside from its convenient location? The restaurant! One of the best "Indian" restaurants I've found in Oz! And it also has a menu of traditional Aussie meat&spuds dishes, which I have not and will never try.
