A guest house era gerida pela Mirella, uma super host simpática sempre disponível e que tem uma mão para a cozinha excelente. Pequeno almoço incrível à la carte onde escolhemos varias opções do que queremos para o dia seguinte, muito bem confeccionado. Quarto muito confortável, bem iluminado, wc limpa e com mudança diária de toalhas. Um sítio a não perder!

The House is ideally located and is just beautiful. Our room had fabulous views of the city and was luxurious and comfortable. Carole and George were welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. It was awesome chatting with Carole in the mornings, getting to know her story and the story of the house a bit better, as well as receiving recommendations on things to do/places to go. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and everything was delicious, including the home made jam!! If I could rate it an 11 I would !! Highly recommended and would love to come back.

The property is a calm oasis, with a gorgeous garden and beautiful art pieces from around the world on every floor. The furnishings are very tasteful and enhance the Georgian design. Our breakfasts were a highlight,and some of the best we’ve had. Rowena is a masterful cook and baker (her sourdough homemade bread is addictive). Her husband Tom gave us great suggestions on where to go and eat. We wished we had more time to try everything on his list!

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The guest house owners were very friendly and always tried to help out where they could. The room was small but very pleasant. Location was quiet but was close to all major attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Ashcroft Farmhouse situa-se em East Calder, a 16 km de Estádio Murrayfield e a 16 km de Zoo de Edimburgo. Elizabeth was such a great host, and went out of her way to make sure I had a smooth check-in at a late time. She also helped organize my taxi at checkout. The room and all the amenities were perfect and I loved the coziness of the entire place. Not to mention, the Scottish breakfast Elizabeth made was one of my favorite breakfasts I've had! Highly recommend staying here for a friendly and genuine experience in Scotland.
