Our host was very nice and helpful. The room is very clean, well equipped and decorated with taste. Breakfast was home made and very good. The parking lot really is a plus as it is very complicated to park in Brixham. The hotel is very conveniently located 5 minutes away from the city centre by foot.

Pauline and Steve made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. There was a pot of tea and delicious slice of cake served on the patio outside. The location is good for Paignton, Brixham and nearby beaches. They've only been running for one year and have completely refurbished throughout. The rooms and decor are beautifully finished all with an expert level of care. We loved the honesty bar both the way it looked and the range of drinks available. Breakfast was very good with daily specials. We also ate at the nearby Railway Inn and our favourite was the Manor Inn in nearby Galmpton village which was an easy walk away. We hope to return again soon.

The owners were wonderful, helping us obtain reservations at popular restaurants in town. To save us a long walk, Hervé even offered to drive us to one of them. The main “wow” for us was the view of the harbor and town from the balcony of our room. The room itself was fine, with great bed and sheets, and a modernized bathroom. The delicious breakfasts were cooked to order.
