Incredible Scottish breakfast and a super nice and welcoming lady. I would suggest to any friends to come here, because I had a such genuine experience that I never found even in 5 stars hotel.

Jimmy cooked us a top notch Scottish breakfast and all the ingredients were superb. Served swiftly and without fuss. The weather was very hot which is always a concern. We had accidentally chosen a property with outdoor covered seating which was so convenient and comfortable. The fact that the main entrance door was opposite these patio doors meant we could have a breeze through the room and didn't need the fan provided. Car parking was a few steps from the entrance to the four guest rooms - the benefit being that you never read other vehicles. The complex is close to the busy main road, so sitting outside you could hear the traffic noise, but the high quality windows meant there was zero sound indoors. The standard of bathroom fittings and facilities in the room were extremely good - for once a shower that was easy to understand! It was just a short walk to the banks of Loch Lomond and the private jetty - a lovely quiet spot.

Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were super sweet. Facilities were clean and hospitable. They provided cookies to go with the tea/coffee.

We could not have asked for more! Sheildaig Farm was absolutely perfect. Our room was so well-appointed, from the breakfast/coffee/tea/snack provisions (which supplemented the cooked breakfast) with fresh fruit and chocolate to the little fan for some extra air movement to the little hotel slippers. Comfortable true king bed. Lesley and the precious pups Ellie and Penny were so welcoming and friendly. Gorgeous adjoining field for walking and taking in loch views. The property is absolutely idyllic.

what is perfect location, clean and comfortable, bright, and nice natural view. loved having kitchen and washing machines as well. owners were warm and friendly, as well as helpful. Felt very grounded in my stay.

A room with private bathroom and patio. The location is fantastic, central and right in front of the train station! The owner was very kind, she welcomed us very well and gave us lots of information on where to eat and what to do. I recommend this guest house.

Such warm and friendly people... Felt like invited by friends ! Rustical house, as we like it The room was as descripted, no surprise. The breakfast is fabulous, lots of choice and quality. Great stay !
