The undisputed Tenerife party capital, Playa de las Américas is a year-round resort of sun, sand and sizzling nightlife. At the foot of volcanic mountains stretching up to Mount Teide, its long beach is comprised of imported golden sand. Tenerife’s natural beaches – such as that in northern Puerto de la Cruz – are actually black sand.
Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje neighbouring Playa de las Américas also have golden beaches, and all are lapped by warm, turquoise waters. Watersports are a popular activity, and the area boasts Siam Park with its hair-raising waterslides, rapids and a host of swimming pools. There’s even a wave pool where you can surf!
Outdoor pools are also found in the Playa de las Américas accommodation on Booking.com, including 5-star resorts, cheap hotels and self-catering apartments. Aqualand has yet more flumes and pools, as well as a dolphinarium.
Dolphins and whales can also be spotted from boat trips along the coast. Other activities include Golf Las Américas, the Canaries’ largest golf course.
However, it’s what happens after dark that’s the biggest draw. The Patch complex has family-friendly bars with food, while the bars, clubs and casinos of the Starco shopping centre and Verónicas strip only really kick in at after midnight.

Play de la Americas is a really nice area especially around the Safari shopping centre we avoid Veronicas but always make a point of going to Siam Park shopping centre. Car Hire from the airport is very reasonable and most car companies do not require a deposit the average price for the small car for seven days is less than €200. It only takes 20 minutes by Car to Playa de Las Americas where you will find beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. You can also travel down to Las Cristiano or Costa Adeje To see these lovely towns and fantastic beaches

I spent a week in Teneriffe, I travelled with my sister so we had a bed room each. it could easily sleep 4 - 5 people. The apartment was a perfect location, access to everything and still very private. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Lots of space outside to sit out and enjoy the evenings. Washing machine means you dont have to bring alot of clothes with you,
We really enjoyed our stay in Teneriffe Pearl and would definately go back again.

Siam Park is a must!!!!
Best bar is the Brahms and Liszt on the Parque de la paz strip fabulous place with the best staff on the island
Best restaurants are Little Italy Pompeii, Vegas grill and Pier 8.
The only issue now with Tenerife is the taxis from the airport as the queues now are ridiculous.

We normally stay in Adeje but because of the steep hills that are unavoidable decided to try Las Americas. We were last there in the 90s and were pleasantly surprised how upmarket it has become. Obviously lots of investment has been made and we have rebooked our holiday for next year.

The location was even more spacious than described. The balcony had two sunbeds and a lovely view of the ocean. The kitchen was suitable for occasional cooking and the two bathrooms were both clean. The beds were also comfortable. Although it was only supposed two of us initially, they allowed us to bring a third guest free of charge and promptly arranged an extra bed for her. We had a great stay and we’ll be sure to return for our next trip to Tenerife!
This hotel is very well placed with in the Las America area, took the bus ( No 40 , 25min ) from and too the airport, bus stops outside the the hotel ( €3.70 each way..taxi €35.00 each way) bus very easy to navigate ,clean room ,Food excellent im fussy and I found something that I liked, every day for my all inclusive 4 night stay, only had the beer cold and refreshing, day time entertain was there very hard working team ,would not hesitate going back
We had a week all inclusive here. The hotel is located an easy 20 minute stroll from the main part of the town though there are also a couple of shuttle buses per day. The hotel is spotless, buffet meals are wonderful and the staff are super friendly. We had a one bedroom family villa which had a lovely private garden and lots of space inside as well.
location is amazing! close to restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs… for a solo traveler it couldn’t be better! the rooms are like tiny apartments full equipped, very private and cozy. the hotel itself is comfortable, clean, staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious! 10/10 for sure! I recommend and certainly will come back!
Ideal location very centre to everything , rooms were nice, clean and had a full operating kitchen for self catering. Staff were very friendly and great options from hotel for meals as you can pay each day to upgrade to all inclusive or even pick what meal times you want to upgrade to
We stayed as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) during October mid-term break and found hotel being really family oriented, very good activities near the pool for kids and adults, super entertainment team (particularly enjoyed yoga and darts by the pool) and very central location.
Great value hotel with big pools and plenty of sun beds.
Room was clean, comfy and modern.
Walking distance to the main areas with shops, bars and restaurants. We booked all inclusive as pretty cheap but ate out most evenings. Wine and beer in the deal was nice.
Very nice 2021 holidays in Hotel Sol Tenerife...
I highly recommend it for families, staff is very polite and helpful, the swimming pool and kids activities are grrrreat..Lot of thanks to Charlie and Dani for entertaining the kids.
Thank you!

Great hotel, staff were brilliant, food and drink was very good for all inclusive; no cheap branded stuff was all very good quality.
Good choice of bars and restaurants through the hotel too and location is very central to things in Playa De Las Americas.
Excellent hotel in a great location, right in the middle of Playa de las Americas where all the fun and shopping happens. Staff very professional and polite, food is over the top, especially dinner with a great variety for everyone.
Location is good if you want a very touristic spot. Plenty of food available all day, so if you like all inclusive this is for you. Internet available almost everywhere in the hotel, but not so good reception in the beddroom.
Great rooms, very comfortable and wide. Position is excellent in Playa de las Americas, just near the seaside and exactly at some walk steps from malls and restaurants.
Facilities are well arranged, the pool is great.
Everything! Sea view, best beach on Tenerife , only 1 minute away. Best place to stay in Tenerife if you want to be right on the beach. Tejita beach nearby with car (our other favourite beach on Tenerife).
Living area was nice and comfortable, very spacious. In general Parque santiago apartments are very good and Playa de las americas is probably the nicest place on Tenerife. We will come again.
Booking in staff were really helpful and friendly.the staff in hotel were all pleasant no complaints..with staff Food at breakfast good had a good choice...hot and cold ..
The view was great.
The apartment had everything needed for comfortable stay.
