The hotel is located PERFECTLY! Easily walked to the little areas around us. It was clean, quiet, and overall a great stay. It was our last hotel of the trip and was a great one to end it on. Parking was easy as well as the check-in process. The breakfast the next morning was good too with lots of options, primarily an Irish breakfast spread. Not to mention the beautiful view! The room was spacious and clean with a super comfortable bed, and a lovely view no matter what side of the hotel you stay in.
One of Ireland’s oldest purpose-built hotels, The Commodore Hotel overlooks Cobh Harbor. It offers affordable spacious rooms, a restaurant serving gourmet food, free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Room was amazing, so spacious with a view over the water, little touches added that make all the difference. The bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was awesome. The yogurt was the best!

It had parking, easy access to get in, clean floors, quiet location
Beautiful little town, just not a lot to do. It's quiet and relaxing. However, it's not too far from Cork if you're looking for more things to do. So we stopped at Cork before heading to Cobh for the night. The pub we went to in Cobh was great though and was lively! So it was the perfect place to end our Ireland trip before heading back home.

Lovely little coastal town with parking and good traditional Pubs like Kelly’s Bar well worth a visit you can leave the car behind and hop on the train into Cork it’s only a short trip away. Then you can shop away to your hearts content. I imagine that is a great option for the Cruise ship passengers when they visit. Oh and I don’t want to forget the restaurants like the Quays or the Titanic who look after all your needs.
Fabulous accommodation,&everything walking distance or easily accessible by car or train. Mary& Michael are lovely host beautiful home & great croissants in the morning. Really enjoyed our stay here would highly recommend.

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.
We had both a continental and full breakfast choice. The continental offerings were more than adequate; smoked fish, meats, cheese, fruit, cereal. My wife had eggs which were cooked to order.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is a few minutes from downtown Cobh.
The property is tightly packed with narrow views of the harbor. The BB is in a converted rectory which still shows in various rooms.
We stayed here on May 7th, 2024. It's a really very nice B&B (in the top 3 places over 14 days in Ireland). The room, breakfast and the staff were just great and we would certainly stay there again should the opportunity arise. Inver is about a one km walk from the town centre of Cobh and the owner gave us lots of tips for sightseeing, pubs, restaurants and souvenir hunting (thank you!). I strongly recommend Inver.
Pam, the owner was a delight. Our room was warm when we arrived and Pam even reserved us a place to have dinner since we arrived at late afternoon.
The room was perfect and even more beautiful compared to the photos. We had the best breakfast here during our trip in Ireland. Soperb!
We will try to visit again during Summer. Totally recommend it if you want to visit Cobh, Cork and the Ring of Kerry.
At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.
The beautifully decorated SeaView Apartment Suite is in a great location to enjoy the area of Cobh. Our host Bernadette met us there to let us in and gave us a tour of the apartment before handing over the keys. The kitchen was generously stocked with fruit, coffee, tea and biscuits to get us started.
Fantastic location. The staff are so warm and friendly. The room was so nice, clean and spacious and with wonderful views of the port of Cobh. Dining in the restaurant was 5 star, again with a beautiful view and delicious food. I couldn't fault anything about this hotel if I tried.
I loved everything about this place - the comfortable bed, the best view, great croissant breakfast, but most importantly we LOVED the owners and their exceptional customer service and accommodating nature. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Cobh.
Old, historic hotel that’s close to everything in Cobh. Easily walkable to all of the sites. Across the street from the docks for easy access to boats for Spike Island. Front desk staff beyond helpful and friendly. Just a quick walk to the Deck of Cards.
Everything was just great about this hotel.
We had a lovely room with a sea view that is just amazing. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was fantastic and waiting staff so helpful and friendly!
Cobh is a lovely destination with lots of history and attractions. Shirley is a thoughtful hostess who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was warm and cosy. Parking was a dream.
Spacious and welcoming. Excellent breakfast in the large dining room, and the sitting by the fireplace in the slicing room in the evening was an excellent way to wrap up a beautiful day spent exploring Cobh.
Absolutely loved this hotel and so glad we canceled hotel in Cork. Cobh is such a lovely little town and being on the water was just beautiful and loved watching the ships dock from our room
The apartment was clean and spacious. We had a magnificent view over Cobh Harbour and breakfast was good. It was walking distance into the town. There was free parking at the hotel
