The room looks recently renovated.
The tea and coffee amenities were sufficient.
The toiletries also smelt good (not the standard kind).

This was the only property that was available for a last minute booking and understandably why.
Surrounded by a forest, Rush Creek Lodge at Yosemite features seasonal outdoor pool, and children's playground.

Really easy access into Yosemite. Staff were very helpful with planning treks, where to park etc etc
The poolside dinner option was good value for money.

We loved everything. The balcony, the comfortable interior, the location, and the generosity of the hosts who provide everything you need to cook and have a log fire and barbecue. Iy was spacious for 6 people. Cosy and warm. Simply amazing! The best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. Just wish we had booked for longer.

Groveland is a small town just a short drive from Yosemite’s Big Oak Flat entrance. It has restaurants, a few gift shops and a small grocery store with ample supplies. There is a gas station on the edge of town. It was a good place for an overnight stop.

The town is some 25-30 minutes from the Rush Creek resort where we stayed.
We only drove through Groveland, it seemed to have a lovely one block downtown with BBs, restaurants, and a few other stores. On the road to Yosemite from San Francisco through Manteca, Groveland is the most picturesque little town.

I had trouble finding Groveland, was late at night. the owner/manager came and found me! Wonderful service.
Had problems finding the correct roads to Groveland, then to Yosemite. I did finally get it all together and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Unexpectedly charming town with way more facilities then we had imagined. The local saloon is awesome, so is the grocery store. We didn't really have time to explore the other options (as we were there to visit Yosemite) but there were plenty more interesting eating/drinking options around.

I wanted a more plush room.
I wanted a more plush room. This one is adequate but the pillows were too hard and the bedding too thin for winter. Also the bed itself was not plush.
It’s not the fault of Westgate. I tried to book at another more plush hotel but I was told there were no more rooms. Come to find out there were no more rooms at the price Booking.com got to offer. I’m learning.

Groveland is a wonderful place to stay.
Groveland is a wonderful place to stay. About 30 min to park entrance. Great grocery store, restaurants, local bar etc. Main Street very historic looking. Some nice lodging including a youth hostel for solo & budget travelers as well as some great campgrounds in the area.
Lovely staff!
The AC in our room was a bit loud and could not be turned off. Staff immediately came up with us to check if they could turn it off and when that was impossible (it was Sunday and technician couldn't come) we were given another room.
Lovely hotel with a nice atmosphere and great location if visiting Yosemite.
Also has a nice bar and restaurant and even complimentary welcome drinks on first night!
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
the hotel is an absolut unique place. you can tell how much love the owners have put into every detail and they do their very best to make you feel welcome and at home. we stayed for a whole week and could not have picked a better place. the hotel is cosy and a great spot in Groveland. Restaurants, Stores and a supermarket are within walking distance. the famous iron door saloon is almost right across the street.
Exceptionally accommodating staff, super clean and well maintained...and I'm picky. We ate there as well and the food was very fresh, delicious. There were options for seating and the upstairs balcony was great! Hotel Charlotte is within walking distance of shopping, the oldest continuously run saloon in CA, the Mercantile, the Mountain Sage coffee/nursery/art gallery.
fantastic stay! the facilities at the lodge are great with the tavern and restaurant there. we got upgraded to a 2 bedroom cabin which was lovely. it’s so pretty to walk around at night. watch the sunset, grab a drink, or hang out in your cabin. the location for visiting Yosemite was perfect. would definitely return. also the products in the bathroom were lovely.
It's a great ocation for a decent price near Yosemite park, which is hard to find. The staff were kind and nice. The room was comfortable enough, the kitchen was ok, and the bathroom too, although it's just one for a bunch of people, so you have to time properly your shower. I totally recommend this place.
Great location to the town of Groveland and an easy drive to Yosemite. It is also very close to Pine Mountain Lake. We had a wonderful stay. The home is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need to be home away from home. We will certainly rent again for our next trip to the area.
Beautiful old house with lovely furnishings in a great location close to Yosemite. The owner Is exceptionally welcoming. She gave us fantastic advice and provided a delicious breakfast,
early, so we could make the most of our day in Yosemite. We loved our stay in Groveland.
Very nice interior and everything was perfectly clean! Yosemite Nationalpark was easily accessible in 40 min. A little grocery store with everything you need near by (5 min by car). We were a group of 4, the sleep sofa was good to sleep.
The location is so great, only an half hour to Yosemite entrance and many gas station nearby. And, there is a supermarket almost has everything. Also, the cabin is well-equipped with variety of kitchenwares.
The play ground for kids was great. The coffee in the room was good. A nearby place to eat was the only thing lacking, but we grabbed some food on the way in and stashed it in the fridge for breakfast.
Great location. Restaurants, grocery store nearby. short drive to Yosemite valley.
specious, clean and cozy home. well maintained.
owner is very responsive. Great communication.
incredible and nice bungalow hotel in the middle of the nature, one hour apart from Yosemite park entry. we loved it to stay there and enjoy nature and this nice and cosy hotel.
The location in Groveland and the attentiveness of the innkeeper - a fun town to explore and reasonably close to Yosemite entrance. Well managed by the innkeeper/owner.
by far the very best accommodations I have ever stayed at, comfortable bed, very clean, treated as if I were family, great food, beautiful setting and near Yosemite!
Great hosts and breakfast and conveniently located near Yosemite National Park. We regretted not having arrived earlier in the day to truly enjoy the location.
