Hotel Inari, hotel in Inari

This hotel is on the shore of Lake Inari and next to Motorway E75. It has a sauna and a gourmet Lapland restaurant with lake views. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free parking.

Great place to stay in Inari. Overlooking the lake & right next to the safari/activity centre. Good breakfast, comfortable beds & friendly staff. Only downside was the limited TV channels (not that we went to Finland to watch English TV) & limited cleaning/towel change etc. When we visit Inari again we will stay here

Lake Inari Mobile Cabins, hotel in Inari

Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights.

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

Holiday Home Inarinlahti by Interhome, hotel in Inari

Holiday Home Inarinlahti by Interhome is located in Inari. The non-smoking unit includes a fireplace, a bath or shower and TV with DVD player.

The accommodation is in an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights – we saw them for three consecutive days! It's also close to the river, and the heating, fireplace, and sauna allowed us to experience the Arctic Circle lifestyle. Laundry facilities were convenient, and it should be equally enjoyable in the summer!

Holiday Home Solokoto by Interhome, hotel in Inari

Holiday Home Solokoto by Interhome is set in Inari. A dishwasher, a fridge and kitchenware can be found in the kitchenette. The accommodation is non-smoking.

All four of us loved the cabin itself! Located at about a 15-min drive from Inari town, this cabin is perfect for anyone looking to get away from anything, in the summer or in the winter. We went there in December, and as you can see from some of the pictures, it's situated at the edge of the lake and has a wonderful view. It was comfortable enough for 4 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would need along with some basic condiments. The attached sauna is a great additional feature to have. Because the cabin is so far away from everything else, you will be able to see the northern lights in the winter from the deck of the cabin itself, as we did, provided you are lucky enough.

Aurora Husky Hut, hotel in Inari

Situated in Inari in the Lapland region, Aurora Husky Hut features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. A stovetop and kettle are also available.

You’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by over 100 huskies. How amazing! The dogs are all so kind, you can pet them all. We had a bbq in the communal huts, where you can make your fire and hang out. Good breakfast. It was such a great experience! Don’t expect luxury though. There is an eco toilet in the cabin, but no kitchen or shower. Washing is done in the sauna, if you need. We prepared our tea on the wood fire in the cabin.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip. We liked both but really enjoyed the dog sledding more. The cabins on the lake at night, when the northern lights came out, were perfect. Yes it was cold but we could go in an out of the cabins and take pictures as the northern lights waxed and waned. Truly a fabulous adventure that cannot be replicated at a hotel.

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!! Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.

    the Wilderness hotel was fantastic.

the Wilderness hotel was fantastic. We love to hike and there are quite a few nice hikes in the area. The museum was very impressive and certainly worthwhile a visit. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and we ate there every night of our stay. Highly recommended!

    We stayed at Hotel Inari.

We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.

It was one of my best accommodations thrue the trip to the nordkapp. The location is directly on the lake, close to the village of Inari and on the gate to Lemmenjoki nationalpark. The house was cordially a former sami-school, now renovated as a hotel. An electric sauna in the house, as well as a wood heated sauna on the lake are available, as well as bikes, kajaks and organised icefishing and snowmobile trips. Breakfast is delicious and even the dinner perfect, self made by the host and containing local food as reindeer and fish.

One of the best experiences of my trip, it’s an amazing experience slept overnight in the middle of the frozen lake with Aurora view (Not the best night but still saw some lights at that night). Our host and owner, Esko really friendly, helpful, and such a nice person, and our chef, Atte was an awesome cook that cooked a super yummy Moose Meatball dinner. Definitely will return again in the future and stay for couple nights. Thank you Esko, Sari and Atte for the wonderful hospitality.

We loved the house, it was perfectly clean and beautiful. All the amenities provided were great. We enjoyed Reindeers that visited us daily morning during our breakfast. It was most unique experience we had. It's very near to SIIDA museum and lake Inari. Juutua trail starts just outside the house which was a plus point. It's a great trail. You will enjoy the stay if you like to stay inside the woods. Very comfortable cottage.

Cosy and squeaky clean cabin, with some sleek design and a good private sauna. Just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Right next to Lake Inari, a good location for seeing northern lights. (I feel that some of the less positive reviews in the past were written when construction work was still ongoing, but the site looks completed now and most of the issues from those reviews no longer apply.)

The location was perfect! In the forest and in front of a beautiful lake. Private beach. We were alone, without neighbours and had our own cottage. There is also a place for barbecue. Dogs welcome, and our dogs were very happy there. There is a dry toilet by the cottage, and a normal toilet further away where you have shared showers and even a sauna.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Inari. People are just of incredible kindness, and if you need any help they do not hesitate to give their hands. The experience of sleeping on the lake is totally undescribable! I would strongly suggest to spend your time here and take part to Atte's running activities. Thank you guys! Helpful staff. Terrific location in the center of Inari. Sauna in my room was awesome! Breakfast buffet was delicious and some things changed daily. Restaurant was good, but pricey. Hotel has their own safari company, so logistically it was a breeze. Great range of activities: dogsledding, reindeers, snowshoeing we’re all great. Very professional.

Great place, with a great view! Equipped with all you need, and you can park the car in front of the house. The area is quiet and charming and at only few steps from your door there is a nice hotel with bar and restaurant. The host has been very kind and supportive with all our questions. Highly recommended!
